Evil Tech Support Stories
Topics in this Podcast:
Welcome Brandon King, Designtechnica's new host for the Designtechnica Podcast. In today's show Brandon shows love for his Sony Ericsson P910a, but bags the company for having non-existent tech support. And while he is on the subject of tech support, he discusses Ian Bell's latest Talk Back article and shares his thoughts on Ian's bad tech support experience with Creative Labs and Compaq.
Rob Enderle has posted a Talk Back that discusses building the "killer desktop system", at least in Rob's eyes. Brandon talks about the article and builds his own hypothetical desktop system. If you have ever thought about adding multiple monitors to your desktop, you might want to listen to what Brandon thinks.
Mini-reviews in this show include the Kensington WiFi finder, the Kensington USB Blue-Tooth dongle and the Koss KSC-75 headphones. We will give you a hint: two of these products rock and one sucks. You will have to listen to the show to figure out which ones are the good products.
And lastly, Brandon talks about the latest firmware update for the Sony PSP. Worth listening to before you decide to upgrade your PSP.
Thanks for listening, we hope you enjoyed the show!
