I know. All the ID3 tags say Digital Trends. That’s okay. Don’t worry. Everything is ooookay. The podcast is in the process of transitioning to a new name. Yes, this was planned and yes, it is good. So from now on, this is the Digital Trends Podcast. Got it?

Today on the show… Three reviews! Three!?!? Yes! Awesome! The Shure E3g, the Laserpod, and some assorted Palm products. I guess Palm ain’t dead. Dead people don’t have marketing departments! A quick blurb on the SE 970, too!

Xbox 360. Yes, I do have to talk about it! Sorry. The initial lineup, the problems for early adopters and the loss for Microsoft. Logitech launches their Xbox 360 Harmony remote – with a $30 rebate if you buy it with the Xbox 360.

Portable media competition is getting serious and even the little guys are in on it. TivoToGo is not iPod and PSP compatible. Neuros intros their new MPEG4 encoder, and Coverbuddy plays nice with iTunes from the PSP.

Sony stops their ridiculous copy protection scheme, but is it the last we’ll see of it? I’ll betcha not!

ZDNet installs Mac OSX86 on a PC! OMG! OMG! Welcome to 2 months ago! Hosers.

I mentioned that I was going to discuss my Wasshington, DC trip, but accidentally left it out. Ah well. Stick around next time for Know Your Podcaster. I promise it will be at least marginally cool. Or kewl. Or maybe even c00l! Oh and the Digital Trends Holiday Gift Guide. Dammit! Hey, just more fodder for next week’s show…
